For students and teaching staff: Collaborative discussion session - Cultivating Minds for a Biodiverse Future [21.11.24]
Join and discuss with us! Monday, 25th November 2024, at 1 pm at the Center for Biodiversity and integrative Taxonomy (KomBioTa). Let’s work together to create a greener, more sustainable education system for Europe.
The eNaBlS initiative – Enabling Society to Bend the Curve for Biodiversity – is transforming higher education and vocational training to integrate biodiversity and Nature-based Solutions (NbS) at its core. This innovative project aims to tackle urgent sustainability challenges by fostering transformative change in communities, businesses, and lifestyles, in line with the EU Biodiversity Strategy for 2030 and the EU Climate Adaptation Strategy.
We’re building Living Labs – collaborative spaces that connect diverse voices, ideas, and knowledge to create a sustainable and inclusive future. Together, we will develop and test cutting-edge teaching and learning methods that prioritize systems-thinking, real-world applications, and a whole-institution approach.
Why You Should Join
This is your opportunity to shape the future of Green Education Systems across Europe! By contributing your ideas, you’ll help design curricula that inspire transformative change and empower people to build a biodiversity-rich future.
In this collaborative discussion, we’ll explore questions like:
- What role can Nature-based Solutions play in achieving a sustainable future?
- How can education systems ensure that progress and technology coexist with nature and biodiversity?
Your voice matters, and your input will help guide educational policies and teaching methods across the EU, making a tangible impact on our shared future.
