The Department of Livestock Population Genomics is dedicated to studying genetic diversity and interactions within insect populations, with a particular focus on various bee species. We aim to identify the processes and key factors that lead to differentiation and adaptation, for example, to environmental factors.
For our BeeConnect project (Connected Habitats as the Key to Preserving Genetic Diversity in Insect Populations), which is funded as part of the Special Program for Strengthening Biological Diversity in Baden-Württemberg, we are seeking a research assistant (f/m/d) for a fixed-term position of 3 years, starting July 1, 2026, E13 TV-L, 65% (with the possibility of pursuing a Ph.D.)
