This program is hosted by the Humbolt Reloaded Program( humboldt-reloaded.uni-hohenheim.de)
Forschungsschnuppern is a programme designed for first-year students, taking place during their first week at the university. It introduces students to a variety of research groups and topics through hands-on projects, giving them the opportunity to explore scientific questions and conduct their own small-scale research projects. At the end of the programme, students present their findings in a poster session. This year, the students impressed visitors with their creative, engaging and insightful posters.
KomBioTa was also present with an information stand to introduce first-year students to who we are, highlight our activities and showcase the research opportunities available through KomBioTa. A particular highlight was the presentation of our newly developed Research Directory, which helps students discover research groups and find volunteering opportunities at the University of Hohenheim and the State Museum of Natural History Stuttgart.
We also encouraged interested students to become KomBioTa members and stay connected with our network throughout their studies at Hohenheim, helping them discover opportunities to get involved in research and engage with the scientific community.
