Call for funding for species protection and biodiversity conservation projects in agriculture [12.01.22]
Special program to strengthen biodiversity: Projects from science and practice are funded for 2 years. Applications can be submitted until February 28th, 2022.
As part of the special program to strengthen biodiversity (Sonderprogramms zur Stärkung der biologischen Vielfalt), the Ministry of Food, Agriculture and Consumer Protection is looking for innovative projects from science and practice that contribute to the protection of biodiversity and the conservation of biodiversity in agriculture.
Project funding will focus on the following content areas:
- Promotion and preservation of biodiversity through biotope networks,
- Promotion and preservation of biodiversity through native species.
- Promotion and preservation of biodiversity in agricultural landscapes and
- Promotion and preservation of biodiversity through reduction of synthetic chemical pesticides.
Projects will be funded for up to 2 years. The deadline for submission of applications is February 28th, 2022.
