On 2 August 2026, KomBioTa once again took part in the special programme “Erhalten, was uns erhält: Das Sonderprogramm zur Stärkung der biologischen Vielfalt” (“Preserving What Sustains Us: Special Programme to Strengthen Biodiversity”) at the State Garden Show (Landesgartenschau) in Ellwangen. Through a range of interactive and informative activities, visitors explored the diversity of wild bees worldwide, learned to identify native amphibians using an identification key, and created their own herb salts to take home and enjoy. KomBioTa also distributed seed mixes containing insect-friendly plants and shared information on suitable species for flower beds that support native insects—particularly specialised pollinators—and promote biodiversity.
