KomBioTa publishes annual report 2022  [24.07.23]

A look back: challenges and successes of the network become visible.

The scientists who have joined forces in the Center for Biodiversity and integrative Taxonomy want to preserve the still existing ecosystems and the diversity of plant and animal species and to promote biodiversity. This is only possible together within the whole society with numerous other actors.

Therefore, the KomBioTa year 2022 was dedicated to increase the visibility and expand the network of the center. We have shown ourselves to the public on many occasions. The scientific advisory board met for the first time, the first presence meeting of researchers took place and we welcomed Prof. Dr. Christian Rabeling as the first KomBioTa professor for Integrative Taxonomy of Insects.

In 2023, we want to focus these activities even more strongly on the area of knowledge transfer in line with our core competencies.

A detailed overview about the activities is available in the

KomBioTa Annual Report 2022 (in German)
