KomBioTa switches from X to BlueSky [13.03.25]
In future, scientific communication relating to biodiversity and taxonomy research at the competence center will take place on BlueSky. KomBioTa follows the trend in science and leaves X.

“The reason for this decision is the changed discussion culture on X, which doesn’t match any more to the values of the Center for Biodiversity and Integrative Taxonomy (KomBioTa),” explains the KomBioTa Board its decision to change the social media channel of our research network. “We expect BlueSky to provide a fact-orientated communication that we are happy to follow and in which we want to make the activities of our researchers visible.”
Meantime, the management team has made the switch to BlueSky and closed its KomBioTa X account. Everybody who would like to be connected with us via social media is warmly invited to follow our account.
