More than 60 representatives from the gardening, landscaping and sports ground construction sector came to the University of Hohenheim to learn about the current state of affairs in species loss as well as practicable measures to promote biodiversity.

Following the lecture by Prof. Johannes Steidle, a lively exchange arose on questions of appropriate mowing, the selection of plants or the role of various insects within our ecosystems showed the need as well as the interest in the exchange of knowledge between theory and practice.
