Invitation to the Annual Meeting of the German Zoological Society  [30.04.24]

DZG2024: Zoological community takes stock of the current state of biodiversity


This year, the 116th Annual Meeting of the German Zoological Society (DZG) will take place from September 9th to 13th, 2024 at the University of Hohenheim and the State Museum of Natural History Stuttgart, whose academic activities are being strengthened by the still young Center for Biodiversity and Integrative Taxonomy (KomBioTa).

The scientific program includes plenary lectures by renowned zoologists, satellite symposia as well as various talks and poster presentations covering the entire spectrum of modern zoology. In addition, we will host a panel discussion on the Academic Fixed-Term Employment Act and provide a platform for the discussion of  topics specific to various zoological subdisciplines. As a highlight of the conference, you can visit the Natural History Museum with its unique scientific and popular science collections.

Contributions for presentations or posters can be submitted until June 30th, 2024.

Registration is possible until September 13th. Benefit from a reduced entrance fee by registration as Early bird until June 14th.
